As of June 22, all COVID orders for the State of Michigan have been lifted. The Session has decided to open the church building to small groups and ministry teams, with no COVID restrictions – what a joy that is!

As you resume in-person meetings, please be sure to schedule them with Margaret Compton in the church office. Please be sensitive to those who may not be comfortable meeting indoors and locate your meeting appropriately to include all. Some groups may decide to continue meeting outside or via Zoom or by other means. Building signs indicate that masks are encouraged but not required.

We have now enjoyed worshiping together outside for several Sundays and, based on feedback from the recent survey, the Session has voted to implement a hybrid model beginning July 4 through the end of August. We will continue to worship outdoors, weather permitting, removing the requirement to wear masks. You are always welcome to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable doing so.

In case of rain or extreme heat, we will move into the fellowship hall with masks. The decision to move inside will be made on Friday and announced in that Friday’s email.
