The Rev. Hannah Lundberg began serving as Westminster Presbyterian’s pastor in September 2024. Her call to ministry is rooted in a desire to help facilitate spaces where people can feel known, valued, loved, and needed for God’s work in the world. Such a ministry is centered upon building relationships, connecting people, and helping the stories of a community to come together with God’s stories to make meaning in a difficult world.
Hannah completed her Master of Divinity degree at Union Theological Seminary in New York City and her Bachelor of Arts in English and Global Development Studies at Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. She is originally from Southern California, and has a strong bias for the Pacific Ocean, but the Great Lakes hold a special place in her heart as well. In her free time, Hannah enjoys paddle-boarding on the Huron River, being outdoors, making it halfway through amateur art projects, and spending time with her partner, Rachel, and cat, Theo.
As Westminster’s stated supply pastor, Hannah will serve in a transitional role until the next installed pastor is called. Though her role is temporary, Hannah intends to be fully present as Westminster’s pastor for this season, bearing witness to the many ways God is at work in this community and supporting the church in its ongoing discernment for how God may be calling us forward. Because Hannah’s role is part-time and she is not always in the church office, send her an email () or call the church office to set up a time to meet with her. Whether you’re new to the community or a long-time member, Hannah would love to get to know you better and support you in your journey of faith.
