Hope Clinic in Ypsilanti provides free medical and dental care plus food and personal support. Westminster is collecting donations for Hope’s food pantry, on Saturdays, March 27 and April 3, between 10 am and 6 pm, in containers by the Scio Church doors. Thank you for your care for all our neighbors!
All non-perishable food items are gladly accepted, especially items made from whole grains and low in sodium and sugars: pasta and pasta sauce • hearty soups • canned meat (tuna and chicken) • peanut butter and other nut and seed butters • ready rice or lentil packets • meal in a can (ravioli, chili with meat) • breakfast cereal • spices and spice blends (low sodium) • mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, salad dressings
Personal hygiene and household items: Kleenex • shampoo and conditioner • lotion • shaving cream • disposable razors • deodorant • soap • tampons and menstrual pads • laundry detergent • dish soap • sponges • toilet paper • paper towels
Baby care: diapers, especially sizes 4, 5, and 6 • formula, especially Enfamil (yellow can) or store brand equivalent • baby wipes • baby food (no meat)
Wash with Care: High-efficiency laundry detergent and fabric softener sheets for Hope’s free laundry facilities for families in need.
