House N2 Home Donation Drive

May 10, 2026

After last summer’s mission planning workshop, and in response to your feedback, we added the local nonprofit House N2 Home to our budgeted mission partners. House N2 Home furnishes living spaces for people transitioning from homelessness into housing in Washtenaw County. Working alongside agencies that help individuals and families secure housing, House N2 Home steps in at the moment of move-in, ensuring each space is fully furnished and thoughtfully stocked. Their goal is simple and powerful: that people are welcomed not just into an empty apartment, but into a real home that offers comfort, dignity, and the essentials of everyday life.

In 2025 alone, they furnished 432 homes for 917 clients, offering fresh starts to many of our neighbors who have experienced homelessness. HouseN2Home welcomes donations of household items, either new or gently used, making it a great place to turn to when cleaning out or downsizing.

We are holding a donation drive from now – May 10. Collection bins are located outside the library.
