We look forward to meeting you in worship:

Westminster Presbyterian Church sanctuary 8:45 am Celebration Worship: blended worship: less formal with praise songs, contemporary anthems and traditional hymns (8:30 during the summer);

11:15 am Traditional Worship: classic organ and choral music and hymns with an occasional praise song (10:30 during the summer);

Good News at 6:00 on the second Sunday of the month: contemporary worship with drama, sacred dance, sermon, and music led by a praise band; dress is casual—come as you are.

Sunday, October 5, Roger and Phoebe Vance, Nancy and Al Alvarez, Vern and Bonnie Terpstra offer us “Many Voices, One Message”.

The Bible reading for
Sunday, October 5 is
Galatians 3: 27-29.

The Sacrament of Communion is served the first Sunday of each month at both services, and on the third Sunday of the month at one service, alternating each month. All baptized Christians, including visitors, who seek relief from the burden of their sins and who desire closer fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ are invitied to participate. There is no alcohol in the communion juice.

If you are able to periodically help prepare the elements for communion services, please contact Phoebe Vance. Thank you.

Welcome! I’m pleased that your web-surfing has brought you to our website and to this brief greeting. Our site has multiple opportunities and links to explore and learn as much as you might care to about Westminster: its ministry, history, passion, and mission. We are a church organization, but first we’re a people gathered in grace.

My experience of the people of Westminster continues to surprise and delight me. I am proud to be a part of such a group of people who are confident of God’s love in Jesus Christ while also maintaining an inquisitive spirit of learning and engaging God’s word and call. If you’re hungry for something more than the diet of a culture fed on fragments, but you’re not sure if you’re ready for church, then we hope you’ll visit us. Westminster is not the stereotypical church.

We’re passionate about worship, mission, and fellowship – a deep and meaningful spirit of love, learning and living. We’re serious and relaxed, bold and humble, confident without being arrogant or thinking we’ve got it all together, spiritual without being overly religious. We’re grateful that God, as the master potter, is still shaping us.

We’re open to the changes that are occurring around us, without being swept away by the fads that come and go. We’re aware that the church we inherited is not the church we’ll pass on to the next generation. We’re excited to be a part of what God is doing in the world at the beginning of the twenty-first century.

We hope you’ll join us in worship and conversation. We’re always interested in the insights, questions, gifts and talents others bring that broaden our experience of God’s grace.

Peace,
Stephen Carl, pastor

Come join us, or send your prayer requests to us and we'll lift them up to our Lord. Please contact Sharon Flynn.
