We welcome you in worship any Sunday, and hope you experience God’s presence and love. There is a place for everyone at Westminster.

This is a congregation that reaches out to the community and to the world through its work in local and global mission. It provides many opportunities for spiritual growth through study and practical application of the Christian message. It is serious about prayer and caring for those in need. It is an authentic faith community that offers fellowship and encouragement on life’s journey. It welcomes all who seek deeper meaning in their lives.

Rev. Dr. Judy Shipman, Westminster’s Interim Pastor, is honorably retired after 18 years as pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Saline. She is Moderator of Detroit Presbytery and an Adjunct Professor at Ecumenical Theological Seminary.

Rev. Shipman’s office hours are 1-3 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (by appointment), and other times by chance. Contact her by email or by calling the church office.

Connections Classes are held regularly throughout the year to acquaint all who are interested with our congregation and the Presbyterian Church (USA).These classes are an opportunity to pursue membership at Westminster or simply learn more about the church and its programs and ministries. All are welcome. Questions? Please contact the church office.

Westminster Presbyterian Church is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA).

The Presbyterian form of government is representational. The governing body of a local congregation is known as the session. Representatives from the sessions of each church in a given area form a presbytery. Westminster belongs to the Presbytery of Detroit. Representatives from each presbytery are sent annually to the General Assembly, our national ruling body. In addition, regional issues are addressed by synods; Westminster belongs to the Synod of the Covenant, which covers the states of Michigan and Ohio.

Banners in our sanctuary (hung seasonally) depict confessions of the church through the ages. Learn about them here, on the media center in the church entry or on informational signs hanging below each banner.
